Arrival & Check-in
Can I check in early?
Early check-in is not available, as we may have guests staying in your room the night before. Our housekeeping team needs time to prepare everything so your room is fresh, clean, and ready for your arrival.
Arriving early? No problem! 😊 You’re welcome to drop off your luggage anytime after 9 a.m. Our team will take care of your bags and place them in your room as soon as it’s ready.
In the meantime, feel free to relax in our beautiful garden patio or cozy living room. Complimentary coffee and tea are available for you to enjoy while you wait. ☕🌿

Where can I find my access code?
Your access code is provided before your arrival. Here’s where to find it, depending on how you booked:
· Airbnb: Check your Airbnb inbox for your access instructions.
· Booking.com: Open the Booking.com app on your phone and check your messages.
· Direct booking: You should have received an email from Group Tourbee with your access instructions. Be sure to check your junk or spam folder, just in case!

How do I get to Maison des Jardins from the airport?
🚕 Taxi — Our Recommended Option
The easiest way to reach us! Taxis are available outside the arrivals area and will bring you directly to 1365 rue Logan. The fare is approximately C$50, and the ride takes about 25–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
🚌 747 Airport Bus — Budget-Friendly Option
The 747 bus runs 24/7 between the airport and downtown Montréal. Get off at Berri-UQAM, then walk or take the metro to Beaudry station, just a 5-minute walk from our property. Check current fares and payment options before travelling.
🚗 Uber or Lyft
Available at the airport, but pickup can be a little chaotic. You may need to walk about 10 minutes to the designated pickup area and wait in line.
Our tip: For the easiest, most comfortable arrival, especially with luggage, we recommend taking a taxi directly to our door!

Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Absolutely! 😊 We’re happy to make your arrival and departure easier.
Arriving early? You can drop off your luggage anytime after 9 a.m. on your check-in day, so you can start exploring Montreal without carrying your bags around.
Leaving later in the day? You’re also welcome to leave your luggage with us after check-out while you enjoy a few more hours in the city before heading to the airport or your next destination.
Our staff will be happy to take care of your bags and keep them safely stored until you’re ready to go. Enjoy your time in Montreal, hands-free! 🧳✨
Can I request a late check-out?
Our standard check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Late check-out is available for an additional fee:
· Until 12:00 p.m.: C$28.74 (tax included)
· Until 1:00 p.m.: C$57.47 (tax included)
· Until 2:00 p.m.: C$86.21 (tax included) You can purchase late check-out here. Please book before 9:00 a.m. on your check-out day so our housekeeping team can plan accordingly.
Just need to store your luggage? You can leave your packed bags in our storage room. Ask our team to store them for you free of charge.

Where can I park my vehicle ?
Parking Information
Finding parking near Maison Des Jardins is usually simple. Most streets nearby offer free parking, and most guests find a spot without difficulty.
Free Street Parking
Street parking is available on Logan, Panet, Plessis, and La Fontaine streets. Please read all signs carefully and watch for:

Permit-only zones: Some spaces are reserved for residents (Zone 22).
· 
Street cleaning: Check weekly restrictions.
· 
Temporary restrictions: Watch for construction or special notices.
Pay attention to red numbers, restricted hours, and arrow directions to ensure parking is permitted.
Paid Parking
The CLSC de la Visitation parking lot is approximately a 5-minute walk from the B&B, with 12 paid spaces.

Private, Gated Parking
We offer one private, gated parking space, subject to advance reservation.
· Rate: $25 per night
· Refundable cash deposit: $20 for the gate key
· Arrival deadline: Before 6:00 PM

What time is breakfast, and what’s included?
☕ Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Enjoy our convenient self-serve breakfast at your own pace, whether you’re an early bird eager to explore Montreal or prefer a slow, relaxing morning. 🥐
Want something a little more special? Our cook is on site daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., ready to prepare a warm, freshly cooked breakfast tailored to your preferences.

Can I eat what’s in the fridge after 10:30 a.m.?
The food in the breakfast fridge is available daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. After breakfast hours, we kindly ask that you leave the remaining food for our team.
☕ Good news! Coffee and tea are available 24/7, and fresh fruit is also available throughout the day whenever you need a little snack. Enjoy!
Can I invite a friend for breakfast

When can I use the Jacuzzi? Is it private?
Our Jacuzzi is available every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 🛁🌿
The Jacuzzi is shared with other guests, but since we’re a small, cozy hotel, it’s usually easy to find a quiet moment to enjoy it all to yourself. Sit back, relax, and make the most of your stay!
Can I access the backyard and rooftop terrace?
Absolutely! 🌿 All guests are welcome to enjoy our beautiful backyard and rooftop terrace. They’re perfect spots to relax, enjoy some fresh air, or unwind after a day exploring Montreal.
Please note that the upstairs solarium is reserved exclusively for guests staying in the upstairs suite. Thank you for respecting their private space!
Do all rooms have air conditioning?
Yes! ❄️ All our rooms are equipped with air conditioning to keep you comfortable during your stay.
Prefer a fan instead? No problem! Just ask a member of our staff, and we’ll be happy to provide one, subject to availability.
Is there a TV in my room? How do I access streaming services?
Yes! 📺 All our rooms have a Smart TV with streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, and more.
Simply log in with your personal account to enjoy your favourite shows and movies. Please note that cable TV is not available in the rooms, and you’ll need your own subscriptions for paid streaming services.
Prefer cable TV? You can enjoy cable television in our cozy shared living room. 😊

Can we smoke cigarettes or cannabis on the property?
Yes! Smoking is permitted outdoors in our backyard or on the rooftop terrace, but it is not allowed inside the house or in the solariums.
Please use the ashtrays provided and help us keep our outdoor spaces clean and pleasant for everyone. 🌿
You’re also welcome to enjoy a nice walk around the neighbourhood!
Is there a security deposit?
Direct bookings: A temporary security deposit authorization of C$300 may appear on your account on the day of check-in. This is not a charge; it’s a temporary hold that is released after your stay, subject to the terms of your booking.
If the hold still appears on your statement, please contact your bank for confirmation. We can verify the release on our end, but your bank determines when the funds become available again.
Airbnb or Booking.com: Your security deposit, if applicable, is handled according to the platform’s own policies.

Montreal’s tap water is safe to drink and is regularly tested to meet strict quality standards. It’s fresh, convenient, and environmentally friendly!
Feel free to refill your water bottle straight from the tap during your stay. No need to buy bottled water!
Is there a metro station nearby?
Absolutely! 
Maison des Jardins is conveniently located near two metro stations, both on Montreal’s Green Line:
· Beaudry Station: Approximately a 5-minute walk.
· Papineau Station: Approximately a 10-minute walk.
Both stations make it easy to explore Montréal and get around the city during your stay!
What is the neighbourhood like?
Maison des Jardins is located in Montreal’s vibrant Village, a welcoming LGBTQ+ neighbourhood known for its restaurants, cafes, bars, and lively atmosphere. 
You may encounter some people experiencing homelessness, particularly along Sainte-Catherine Street. However, our property is on a quiet, clean residential street, offering a peaceful place to relax after exploring the city.
We’re happy to recommend local favourites to help you make the most of your stay!
What is the weather like in Montreal, and what should I wear?
Montreal experiences four distinct seasons, so dressing for the weather makes all the difference!
Spring (March–May)
Cool and unpredictable, with rain and occasional chilly days. Bring a light jacket, layers, and waterproof shoes.
Summer (June–August)
Warm to hot and humid, often 25–30°C (77–86°F). Pack T-shirts, shorts, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Fall (September–November)
Crisp, colourful days with temperatures that gradually drop. Bring sweaters, a medium-weight jacket, and comfortable walking shoes.
Winter (December–February)
Cold and snowy, often below 0°C (32°F). Pack a warm winter coat, insulated boots, gloves, a hat, and a scarf.
